We supply Bulbs throughout the EU and USA by mail order.
We only supply Plants in the UK.

Making A Purchase
Orders for spring bulbs and summer plants are accepted at our sole discretion. Spring bulbs from April to end of October and summer plants from January to end of May are available subject to a satisfactory crop and availability. Customers can place orders at any time during this period subject to availability. Bulb collections are limited to 2 per customer and are subject to availability. We have limited stocks of some bulbs and early ordering is recommended. Minimum order is £5 plus the relevant p&p. Full payment in Sterling or Euros, is normally required with the order.
When confirmation of the order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. Buyers information is not disclosed to any third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment.
We do not export plants outside of the UK, Corms outside of the EU and Bulbs outside of the EU and United States of America
The website shows an indicitive price in US Dollars based on and exchange rate of £1 = $1.3. Due to international currency markets this exchange rate may fluctuate but the changes will not be shown on the website.
Shipping And Handling
We commence dispatching summer corms, in strict rotation, in March when they are available and aim to have them with customers by the end of April, orders placed from April onwards are normally dispatched within 5 working days.
We commence dispatching spring bulbs, in strict rotation, in September when they are available and aim to have them with customers by the end of October. Orders placed from September onwards are normally dispatched within 28 days.
Summer plants and Spring bulbs are normally sent by First Class post or Parcel Carrier. UK (mainland) orders for small bulbs weighing up to 2kg pay a standard £10.00 p&p charge. Orders which include Large bulbs, marked (L), or weigh over 2kg are charged at £12.00 p&p up to 25kg and any additional weight or box charged at cost and advised. Payment is normally required before dispatch. Postage to other EU countries and non UK mainland is charged at £20.00 up to 1kg and then any additional weight charged at cost, with payment required before dispatch. Bulbs can also be collected at some shows, including Harrogate Spring and Autumn Shows, by arrangement, . When bulbs are collected and p&p has been paid extra bulbs will be included. All orders are collated and dispatched by us. We only keep a record of your name, address and email to acknowledge orders and to provide our catalogues, news and updates. We are happy to remove your details if requested.
Spring Bulb deliveries commences in early September in strict date of ordering rotation.
Chrysanthemums will start to be dispatched from Early February.
Dhalias and Gladiolies will be dispatched from March in strict date of ordering rotation.
Horticultural Supplies are dispatched all year round.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
When an order is placed and paid for through our web site, credit/debit card payments are made through PAYPAL
- an independent secure credit/debit card payment provider. No credit/debit card details are held on our website.
All bulbs supplied are propagated within the EU and will be in good condition at the time of dispatch. Stocks of some bulbs are limited. We will always try to send you what you ordered, but reserve the right to send substitutes unless otherwise instructed. However we will endeavour to provide a bulb(s) of the same quality and price or better. Since customers growing methods and storage conditions are beyond our control, we cannot give an expressed or implied warranty on the performance of the bulbs.
If you are not satisfied with any part of your order and advise us within 14 days of receipt, we will refund the bulb cost or provide replacement bulbs if possible. No liability will be accepted after 14 days as we cannot be responsible for a customer's storage conditions or cultural conditions.

Full payment is normally required, with an order, by cheque, payable to F Charlton, or by credit/debit card payment using PAYPAL unless agreed credit arrangements exist. Payment can be made in Sterling or Euros.
